🌟 Operation Saint Nicholas' Wish: Restoring Hope and Joy for Ukrainian Children Affected by War 🕊️
In the midst of conflict, the innocent dreams of children have been shadowed by the realities of the Russia-Ukraine war. In the past, these children wished for simple joys—sweets, toys, and gadgets—from Saint Nicholas. However, today, their desires are far weightier. They yearn for the safe return of their fathers from the war, warm clothes, provisions, and security for the military defending their nation. Above all, they dream of the liberation of their hometowns and the victory of Ukraine. These are wishes no child should have to make or comprehend. 🌍🕊️
Our initiative aims to restore the purity of childhood dreams. On this Saint Nicholas Day, our most fervent wish is for the return of peace to their homes—a return to carefree wishes and the joyful celebrations that define childhood. We refuse to let war rob these children of their innocence. 🎉✨🌟
We visited shelters in Lviv, spending time with displaced children, and, in collaboration with the children of military families, penned heartfelt letters to Saint Nicholas.
